Maria Klos

Maria obtained her B.A. in Scientific Illustration from Arcadia University.  Recently relocated from Pennsylvania to California, Maria will be attending the Scientific Illustration Master’s Certificate program at CSUMB. Maria’s goal is to enhance her skill set in this field in order to apply her artistry in the form of art activism. Maria wishes to teach and inspire people to protect and preserve the natural world with the belief that in order to do so we must rediscover within ourselves our spiritual connection to the earth, as well as the senses of wonder and awe towards the natural world which have become muted over time. When not at her desk drawing Maria can be found out in nature exploring, doing yoga, or at the barn hanging out with and riding horses. See more of Maria’s work here!
