Tentacles & Wings Benefit Concert a Huge Success!
The benefit concert held at 19 Broadway, Fairfax on December 27th, 2019 was a smashing success! Friends, family and community supporters showed up to help raise funds for scholarships for the upcoming year. The evening was highlighted by the nonstop rock and roll of Mark’s Jam Sammich and Tommy Odetto & Friends. We are so grateful to Mark Heaphy and Tommy Odetto and the other band members for stepping up to make this event possible. The support of the community, as always, is what has kept us strong these past two years. We would like to give a big shout out to our raffle sponsors; Insalatas, Marinitas, Hog Island Oyster Company, Fradelizio’s and 19 Broadway and to our food sponsors; Good Earth Natural Foods for the hummus and veggies and Fradelizio’s for the delicious chicken wings. For this support and the support of everyone who could not attend, but made a donation, we say THANK YOU! We have raised enough funds this year to award out the same number and amount of scholarships that we gave out last year. Hopefully with other fundraising events we have on the horizon we will be able to do even more this year. Thank you for helping us to honor Marie and share your love for her. As always, we are overwhelmed by the fantastic community we live in.
